Trudging through a tough week, I think I'm finally on the way up. The odddity of the experience is that relaxing for a week, left to my own, then moving on to visit with family, I only got worse. Today in solitude, bringing up some dark music, I finally start to feel better. Listening in on the anger of a few songs, I suddenly felt connected again. All the attempts at normalcy and platitudes of the preceding week were just compounding my frustrations. Connecting with the disconnected through shared discontent finding a bit of happiness, energy, not purpose but at least interest. De-connected.

Filler Post
The last entry seemed too whiny, so I'm filling in just a junk post...
How's everybody doing?

Lonely
Short post. Wishing I could find Amanda Hugnkiss. Sorry for the stolen pun. I'm really tired. I spent a few hours at club five. I feel like I made some good friends, but I'm not sure if I'm any closer to finding someone I could love. Online isn't panning out, the hockey team is moving slowly and the club seemed fruitless. Two months in Madison, and I'm worried that it's still going to be seven months before anything starts to align.
I'm not quite sure what's wrong with me. No one responds to my messages. I try cute, flirty, friendly, blunt, but I get silence in reply. The guys who do talk to me are taken already or seemingly terrified to meet in person. I choose open and public areas to play a friendly game of pool, but seems there's a resounding worry that there are stalkers out there, in other words they're worried I may be a stalker. I don't think people can judge themselves, so I can't say if this is absolutely true, but I'm just about the biggest teddy bear there is, and if you tell me to fuck off, I will leave you alone(maybe I'll ask what I did wrong, but I'll leave).
I'm just tired of being alone. Right at the end of my stay in Edmonton I met a guy that for once I felt I could love and live with. We were both leaving, though, so it was destined to just be a short fling. The worst part is that I now no longer feel like being alone. Prior to having that one short but intense relationship I was content with being a bit of a hermit. Now I have this hole, and I don't see any pieces that fit.

Fall of America
The fall of America is the rise of the politician. It is the fault of the citizens that they exist. We have lofted our government so high that we expect our representatives to be celebrity and perfect. To that need has risen a new class of people, with money, schooling and treacherous hearts willing to sell their integrity for power.
The salvation of the nation is in its devaluing. Representatives should be treated as any cheap item of commerce, purchased when favorable and discarded often with little regret. Once we are free to discard as we whim, the value of the positions will become less prestigious. The politician class will disperse, because leadership will have degenerated to subservience. After that transformation, only those who want to serve their nation will apply. The democracy will be reborn.
The new nation begins with the old election's end. The fault of our current government lies in the elections. Their frequency and stifled form favors incumbency. The voting should be held every year and submissions should be permissible three months up to the day of tax deadline. With the tallying of our debts would come the tally of our votes. By the start of summer new officials would be sworn in. The art of campaign will crash to a halt. No coffers would be deep enough to keep pace. The constant flow of officials through office would destroy its value, scattering the politicians. The fragility of the position would lend officials to heed our needs. America as we've come to know it will fall, and a new nation, beholden to the ideals of democracy, will be born.

So that thing that I said...
That first blog I made, talking about how I plan to get out of Edmonton before the end of the summer... I'd just like to say mission accomplished!! I'm free!
It took one of the longest and most nerve racking drives of my life (29 hour drive over two days in an overloaded vehicle hauling a trailer that was probably too big for it), but I'm back in Wisconsin. I'll be starting the new job mid August. Now I have a couple of weeks to clean out the Edmonton Lung and get healthy again.

Ready for a lifetime of paranoia?
Embedded bellow is the new movie The Zeitgeist. It's the culmination of about five conspiracy videos into one fascinating, terrifying and one wonders if not possibly true documentary.
Supplementary videos:
The Money Masters
This is actually a documentary, not a conspiracy video. It will teach you a whole history of America that you did not know. It's dry as hell and long as sin, but if you like history, you'll not be able to peal your eyes away.
Loose Change
The quintessential 9/11 conspiracy video.
