First Time Going In
What can I start with that millions of bloggers haven't started with?
Testacular Douchery, my fine fellow.
Let's see. I'm up in underwhelming Edmonton Alberta on another 13 Celsius bellow day. Edmonton... A city people move to to work and move away from because it blows. I've been here for about a year and a few months now, and I have to say... I want to leave.
I moved up here for work. The job I have is really quite nice. I'm a cinematic animator for a great company. I happen to be working on a highly anticipated title. The problem is that I'm about 1600 miles away from home, family, friends and my three new nieces (and a nephew is on the way). This circumstance could be ignored, if I wasn't in such a barren tundra in the oil wastes of Canada. There's nothing here but a big mall, a college street and some friends I made through work (many of which have left or will be leaving when the project is over).
Some time this next year there's going to be a big change. Before the weather up here heads into the next long dismal winter, I'm packing my shit and finding a new home.
